These terms govern your use of the UpHangar website at uphangar.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use the site.

1. Scope of these terms

These terms apply to the pages of this site, its content, and its contact form. They do not apply to contracts between us for the delivery of a project — those are governed by the Terms of Service and the signed contract between the parties, which prevails in the event of any conflict.

2. The nature of the published content

The engineering content published in the blog and services pages is general and educational in character. The figures and ranges in it are common in practice and are not a substitute for an accredited structural calculation nor for engineering advice on a specific project.

Every project needs a design signed by a qualified structural engineer under the building code in force at its location. We accept no responsibility for any design or construction decision taken in reliance on the site content alone without an engineering study.

3. Accuracy and updating

We take reasonable care over what we publish and update it as needed, but we do not warrant that it is free of error, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. The specifications and services described may change without prior notice; what binds us is what appears in a written quotation or a signed contract, not what appears on an informational page.

4. Intellectual property

The text, logo, design and images on this site are owned by or licensed to UpHangar. You may read them, print them, and share links to them for personal or non-commercial professional use.

Republishing the content or quoting substantial parts of it in commercial material requires prior written permission. Short quotation with attribution and a link is permitted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose; not to attempt unauthorised access to any part of it or to the server hosting it; not to send harmful content or bulk messages through the contact form; and not to scrape the content in a way that burdens the server.

6. External links

The site contains links to sites we do not operate, including the Ovik Technical Service site. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and the presence of a link is not an endorsement of everything on them.

7. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or inability to reach it, including service interruption or data loss.

Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude any liability that the law does not permit to be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Syrian Arab Republic, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
