Data Deletion
If you have written to us through the contact form, we hold your message. This page explains how to ask us to delete it.
1. What we actually hold
Before making a request, it helps to know the limits of what we have. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track visitors, and it has no user accounts and no visitor database.
What we hold is the contact-form messages you sent: name, message, and whatever you optionally entered for email, phone, organisation and subject. If your enquiry led to a contract, we also hold the project documents associated with it.
2. How to make the request
Send a message through the contact page including:
- The words "data deletion" in the subject.
- The name and email address you used in the earlier correspondence — we need them to find your record and avoid deleting somebody else's.
- An approximate date of the correspondence, if you remember it.
- Whether you want everything deleted or one particular item.
You may also ask, instead of deletion, for a copy of what we hold, or for correction of anything inaccurate.
3. Identity verification
We verify that the request genuinely comes from you before acting on it, and we ask for the minimum that achieves this — normally a reply from the same email address the original message came from. We will not ask you for an identity document to process a deletion request.
4. How long it takes
We acknowledge the request within three working days and carry it out within thirty days at most. If we need longer for a technical reason, we tell you the reason and the expected period.
5. What we may be obliged to retain
Transparency matters more here than an absolute promise. We may retain some data despite a deletion request in two cases:
- Contractual and accounting documents: if your enquiry led to a contract, accounting and legal requirements oblige us to retain its documents for the statutory period.
- What is needed for a live legal claim or its defence.
In those cases we delete everything else, and tell you specifically what remains, why, and when it will be deleted.
6. Backups
Your data may persist in a server backup after deletion from the active record. These backups rotate automatically and are overwritten within their normal cycle, and are used only for system recovery after a failure — not for access or processing.
7. Data that reached us from someone else
If your data reached us from a third party — for instance a client naming you among project contacts — you have the same right to request deletion, and the procedure above applies unchanged.
8. Contact
For any question about this procedure, or to follow up a request you already made, reach us through the contact page or by phone on +963 934 25 25 28.
