Twelve hundred square metres with not one intermediate column — thirty metres of uninterrupted sightline.

A sales hall of twelve hundred square metres, built as a steel portal-frame structure bearing on concrete footings, with a thirty-metre clear span over a length of forty metres.

The governing requirement here was an interior completely free of intermediate columns. That decision raises steel tonnage faster than it raises floor area, but in a sales hall it is not a stylistic preference: a central column cuts the sightline and splits thirty metres into two separate views, and a hall where projects are presented depends on what can be taken in at once.

The five-metre eaves height is a clear figure measured below the lowest structural member, not an overall height to the apex of the frame. Here it is a question of proportion before it is one of handling: a thirty-metre width under a low ceiling reads as compressed, and the height is what makes the openness felt.

The envelope combines two materials, each with its own role: composite panel across the roof and solid walls delivers finish and insulation in a single installation step, while tempered glass facades open the hall to its surroundings and admit daylight without carrying structural load — the steel frames carry, the glass encloses.
